Various Nursing Programs
People interested in a career in nursing will find many Nursing courses offered at various colleges. The schools that offer these programs can have separate facilities for teaching the classes or it can be a school of medicine. There are a number of nursing colleges that offer a full spectrum of programs ranging from the basic licensed practical nurse to the doctorate programs. Students just starting out can choose to take a two or four year program to become either an LPN or RN. People interested in obtaining a higher degree will need to meet the prerequisite requirements of the program, which will include prior education in the field of nursing.
